David Herndon Featured In Moue Magazine!

Our resident South Georgian David Herndon is today's featured indie artist on Moue Magazine (if that name sounds familiar, Micah was featured there recently as well). Furthermore, we think it's interesting to note that the piece's author is atheist while David's songs are from a distinct Christian perspective. Good music is good music, we think. Jon Black City @ City Stages Main Stage!

For those of you in the Southeastern United States (or farther - hey, we're not discriminating), make plans to be at the City Stages festival in Birmingham, AL on Saturday, June 14th at 1pm to see our very own Jon Black blast through a full-band set on the main stage! How big a deal is this? City Stages is put on by the folks who handle Bonnaroo, was recently named a stop on PASTE magazine's "Ultimate Road Trip" and is headlined this year by Diana Ross and the Flaming Lips. So yeah, it's kind of a big deal. People know it. Check out more info here at CityStages.org.

It taste like flavor...

Who wants some more flavor??? I know I do. Good news!!! Our cravings will soon be quenched. During this weekend, flavor will be prepared and served on levels never seen before by man or creature. I am currently in the midst of the first ever "Flavor of the Weekend." You may be asking, what is this Flavor of the Weekend you speak of. Well let me tell you. Jason has realized he's been quite selfish with the flavors, always reserving the pleasure of creating the tasty classics to him. Upon realization, Jason decided to do something about it. This is when the idea of "The Flavor of the Weekend" came into existence. The basic jest of this weekend is to gather friends and musicians at the studios of Paul Reeves and spend time together writing ridiculous songs about a few untrue events. So far we’ve got two songs done with two or three in the works. The music is funny (we think) and the whole weekend has been a blast for everyone involved. Stay tuned. We’ll be serving these treats up soon.

Cause we like to party...

Wanted to remind all of our readers that this Sunday, April 22nd, Jason will be playing the Melting point in Athens, GA. This is a show you do not want to miss, trust me. You may be saying to yourself...I've seen Jason before, what's so special about this show??? Well, funny you should ask. First, Jason wont be up there by himself, he'll have a bassist, drummer, and guitarist playing along. Second, this is the official release show of Jason's new album, "The Broken Headphones EP."

Jason Harwell...The City Boy

If you haven't yet, go check out Jason's blog. He just finished up a stint of shows up in the NYC with Micah Dalton, and is heading down to the FLA today for another week of shows. (Jason will also attempt to sabotage the University of Florida's athletic program. I hope he succeeds.)
